“Unfortunately, we still live in a world where gay and bisexual men face discrimination simply because of their status,” said Equality PAC Co-Chairs Chairman Mark Takano and Congressman David Cicilline. “On National Gay Men’s HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, we take a moment to recognize the daily impact that HIV/AIDS continues to have on our community, while promoting affordable and accessible testing, prevention, and treatment options. As we work towards the goal of eradicating this terrible disease, we will continue to advocate for expanded health care access for members of the LGBTQ community to fight HIV/AIDS.”
