Equality PAC Endorses Misty Snow (UT-Senate)
Washington, DC – Equality PAC, a political action committee formed by leaders of the Congressional LGBT Equality Caucus, announced today its endorsement of Misty Snow to be elected to represent the State of Utah in the Senate. Snow made history in June by becoming the first transgender person to ever become a major party nominee for a U.S. Senate seat.
“Equality PAC is proud to endorse Misty Snow,” said Equality PAC Co-Chair Mark Takano. “Misty’s understanding of the struggles facing working people from all walks of life, including in LGBT community, will make her a transformational figure in the Senate. She is a fighter whose campaign has already made history.”
“Thank you very much for the endorsement” said Misty Snow. “I am honored to be a voice for the LGBT community. If elected I would like to advocate for legislation that helps bring equality to LGBT people in housing, employment, and all other areas of life.”
