Washington, DC – Today, Equality PAC Co-Chairs Chairman Mark Takano (D-CA) and Congressman David Cicilline (D-RI) released the following statement celebrating Congresswoman Angie Craig’s win in Minnesota’s 2nd Congressional District Democratic Primary. Craig is running to secure a 3rd term in the House of Representatives, running in one of the most competitive House districts in the country.
“To grow and expand our majority in Congress, it is critical that we re-elect Congresswoman Angie Craig in November,” said Equality PAC Co-Chairs Chairman Mark Takano and Congressman David Cicilline. “Republicans are doing everything they can to try and defeat Angie. Since her start in Congress, Angie has been an incredibly effective advocate for Minnesota’s working families and LGBTQ community. Simply put, we cannot afford to lose her voice in our caucus. We fully stand behind Angie in her re-election campaign and look forward to ensuring that she wins in November.”
