Equality PAC Celebrates Congressional Passage of Respect for Marriage Act

Washington, DC – Today, Equality PAC Co-Chairs Chairman Mark Takano (D-CA) and Congressman David Cicilline (D-RI)released the following statement celebrating congressional passage of the Respect for Marriage Act. The bill now goes to President Biden for his signature.

While we look forward to President Biden signing this critical piece of legislation, we must continue to do more to protect marriages and the LGBTQ community. This means passing the Equality Act and doing everything in our power to end discrimination and hate directed towards LGBTQ Americans.”
