Washington, DC – Today, as we close out Pride Month, Equality PAC Co-Chairs Chairman Mark Takano (D-CA) and Congressman David Cicilline (D-RI) announced the endorsement of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s (DCCC) Red to Blue candidates. According to the DCCC, “Red to Blue is a highly competitive and tested program at the DCCC that equips top-tier candidates with organizational and fundraising support to help them continue to run strong campaigns.” Each of these candidates has pledged their support and their vote to pass the Equality Act.
“The DCCC’s Red to Blue list includes candidates that will ensure we grow our House majority and join us in the fight for Equality,” said Equality PAC Co-Chair Congressman David Cicilline. “The candidates are battle tested and are all fervent supporters of LGBTQ rights and our equality agenda. To enact our legislative goals, such as finally making the Equality Act the law of the land, we need every one of the DCCC’s Red to Blue candidates to win this November. The DCCC’s Red to Blue list includes Jevin Hodge (AZ-01), Rudy Salas (CA-22),Jay Chen (CA-45), Brittany Pettersen (CO-07), Yadira Caraveo (CO-08), Annette Taddeo (FL-27), Christina Bohannan (IA-01), Liz Mathis (IA-02), Nikki Budzinski (IL-13), Hillary Scholten (MI-03), Don Davis (NC-01), Wiley Nickel (NC-13), Jeff Jackson (NC-14), Tony Vargas (NE-02), Gabe Vasquez (NM-02), Bridget Fleming (NY-01), Jackie Gordon (NY-02), Max Rose (NY-11), Francis Conole (NY-22), Greg Landsman (OH-01), Emilia Sykes (OH-13), Val Hoyle (OR-04), Jamie McLeod-Skinner (OR-05) — who was previously endorsed by Equality PAC — Andrea Salinas (OR-06), and Chris Deluzio (PA-17).
