Washington, D.C. – Today, Equality PAC will host their second annual Pride Gala in Washington D.C. featuring the Honorable Pete Buttigieg. The event will also feature Michigan State Senator Mallory McMorrow and singer, actor, and music education advocate Erich Bergen.
“We are incredibly excited to host our annual Pride Gala to highlight our amazing, talented, and diverse endorsed candidates and to celebrate Pride Month with our friends and supporters,” said Equality PAC Co-Chairs Chairman Mark Takano and Congressman David Cicilline. “Through the generous help of our supporters around the country and across the Labor, business, and activist communities, we raised over $427,000 to support the PAC, uplift LGBTQ congressional candidates across the nation, and help our allies win their elections in November. We want to give a special thank you to Secretary Buttigieg, State Senator Mallory McMorrow, Erich Bergen, The Dueling Drag Divas Chi Chi and Jo Anna, and everyone who will be taking part in our major Pride event.”
Equality PAC’s Annual Pride Gala will be Equality PAC’s key event this year in addition to being our most attended event and largest fundraiser of this election cycle. Equality Board Members played an active role in helping raise funds from supporters across the country and throughout the Labor, business, and activist communities.
